I am looking for an employment opportunity that would enhance my educational experience. This past semester I was in Washington D.C., Vietnam, South Africa, and Argentina studying public health. This has been a transformational experience as I garnered new skills academically (comparative analysis, presentation, infographic design, etc.) and personally (adaptability, reciprocity, positionality, etc.). Additionally, in the spring of 2015, I wrote an article on the importance of intergenerational conversations through a technique, Appreciative Inquiry, that was published in an international journal. I was subsequently invited to present at the World Appreciative Inquiry Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa and a conference at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia (2016). I published again in 2017 with a piece , “Learning to Leverage Appreciative Mindset in a Not so Appreciative Moment,” which was cited as a chapter in the 2018 book, Conversations Worth Having.
