Summary

I work with the Dpt. of Urban Planning, Shiraz University. I graduted in Urban Planning/Design from UniSA, Adelaide in 2006. My dissertation "Urban design quality, neighborhood-scale urban form, and travel behavior; case studies of Adelaide suburbs", discusses the impacts of urban form at local scale, and detailed qualities on travel patterns of residents. I have conducted some research into urban design, land use and transportation so far. I received the Iranian National "2013 Excellence for Research" Prize in Art & Architecture for my research and endeavor. While I have worked as an academic member of Shiraz University, I have attended some International universities in Japan, Turkey and Australia as research/senior research fellow. Currently, I do work at Urban Research Program, Queensland Australia. My research interests includes urban form, urban design, behavioral patterns, sustainable transportation, urban modelling and quantitative methods.
