I have a a PhD in Law from Birkbeck University of London, I also hold an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science LSE and an LLB from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. I have more than 17 years of professional experience as an evaluator, project manager, advisor and researcher for Non-Governmental Organisations, International Organisations and Public Institutions in Mexico, the UK, Austria and the USA. Among these are the Mexican National Indigenous Institute (INI), the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-MEX), the Agrarian Commission of the Mexican Parliament, the Rainforest Foundation-UK (RFF-UK), the UK- all party Parliamentary Group on the Great Lakes Region of Africa and the Sustainable Livelihoods Units of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). I am founder consultant of CARMA: Consultancy for the Sustainable use of the Resources. The Mission of CARMA is to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I am a current member of the International Assciation for Impact Assessment and Acadmic at the University of the Environment UMA and ORT Foundation University in Mexico. I speak Spanish, Danish, Italian English and MSL. I have an international and cross-cultural exposure to negotiate with various counterparties (governmental authorities, international public organisations, the civil society and the communities) at all levels. My research specialisation is on land property systems and rights. I have a particular interest in contributing to poverty alleviation, social inclusion, climate change mitigation, sustainable and climate smart financing, collective systems of land property and community-based projects for management of NRs
