My name is Dr. Alusine M. Kanu DA. I am a native of Sierra Leone, West Africa. I am a three-time graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with course work in speech communication, human resource training and development and a doctorate in Community College Education, with course work in Communication Instruction. I am also a recent graduate with a second doctorate (D.Ed.) in Pastoral Community Counseling at Argosy University in Sarasota Florida.
I am author of Reflections in Communication: an Interdisciplinary Approach, published by the University Press of America, and co-author of Connecting Intercultural Communication: Techniques for Communicating across Cultures, with Kendall Hunt Publishing. I am also co-author of Solving Global Problems in Developing Nations with The Community Col-lege Journal. Also published is Faculty Development: Strategies for Teaching and Learn-ing with Iuniverse and processing public speaking with Xlibris.
