I have just completed my Master's in Socio-legal Studies/ Women's Law and am anticipating excellent results in line with all my previous academic achievements. My passion for a career in Psychology and Law was ignited by both personal and observed life experiences which have revealed the numerous inequalities within society. Through interaction with women and children on a daily basis, I discovered the problems they encountered within both private and public domains, such as gender-based violence (GBV), sexual harassment, physical, emotional and psychological abuse, all of which transcend class, status, ethnicity, race or age. My strong leadership skills developed through employed, particularly overseas and through extracurricular activities, such as the business I founded and ran successfully for just over 5years. It became my mission to be an ambassador for women's emancipation and empowerment. My Aim "It is in your hands, to make a better world for all who live in it." Nelson Mandela Women and children constitute a very crucial part of society, yet most issues surrounding their most pressing needs are largely ignored. With knowledge, unwavering determination and assistance from others who have discovered the same truth and more, I believe that the world can be changed for better. I wish to be part of that movement, which makes me a strong candidate for the position I am applying for within your organisation.
