Am a team player and goal achiever.
Have worked mainly in the private sector for 15 years after graduating from University of Malawi (Bunda College of Agriculture) with a Bachelors degree in Agriculture (1997) and later a Masters degree in Soil Sciences (2002).
I have acquired diverse experience and skills in programme development, programme monitoring and evaluation. Key areas I have worked in are agriculture and food security (sustainable agriculture), Natural resources management, Maize and Legumes research, Designing and developing Extension Training Tools, Training and supervising technical research and extension staff, Disaster Risk Reduction, HIV/AIDS programme development and implementation, land administration, grant administration and capacity development.
I have strong skills in proposal development, developing research tools, writing scientific and technical reports, articles, training field officers, supervision of research and development work, development of terms of reference for consultancy assignments, grant administration, advocacy for human and civil rights and in networking with other professionals.
My immediate plans for the future is embark on a 2-3 year PhD study (when the scholarship is secured) in areas of Environment Management.
I also want to do partnership business on national/international level in Consulting and Manufacturing Agro Chemicals.
