I am Development Aid Worker and Public Servant in BPS-17 with over total 15 years of experience of leading, managing and coordinating the overall Child Protection/GBV(Gender Based Violence)Preparedness and Response of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, that also includes IDPs and Refugees’ response. I remained on different position’s in my career such as Social Organiser, Monitoring and Reporting Officer, Database Analyst and worked with different Donor’s such as US-Aid,EU(European Union),DFiD, UNICEF, UNHCR, etc. In my current role as Assistant Chief-Programmes(BPS-17) in Child Protection and Welfare Commission, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, I together with my team, UN agencies and clusters as well as civil society, significantly improved the overall protection and welfare mechanism for vulnerable and at-risk children in the province by developing child protection protocols, policies and effective robust policy in line with UNCRC and existing laws of the country. I demonstrate exceptionally strong skills of programme management including project development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and analysis. I have successfully facilitated training sessions to wide range of professionals in the area of protection, Child Protection, GBV, etc. I possess strong communication and presentation skills. I have contributed and in some instances led various research studies, surveys and teams in the area of child protection in the conflict affected areas of FATA as well as areas of displacement in close collaboration and partnership with UN agencies, INGOs, CBOs and academia. I possess strong negotiation, problem solving and networking skills. I am very resilient professional with a high degree of empathy, adaptability and respect for others, and working together team work philosophy. Beside this I have also organized , arranged, conducted and participated in various training's, seminars, consultations, walk etc in and outside the country on different topics and themes such as child rights and child protection issues, gender based violence, child protection in emergencies, women empowerment, monitoring and evaluation, procurement and inventory management ,program designing ,budgeting and implementation, accountability, disaster and emergencies, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Contingency Planning etc.
