Summary

I retired from the USAID Senior Foreign Service in 2017. During my 30-year foreign service career, I served in Zimbabwe, the Philippines, West Bank and Gaza, Morocco, Croatia, and USAID/West Africa. I also directed the Office of Sudan Programs (2007-2010) and served as USAID Chair and Economics Faculty at the National Defense University (2010-2012), where I was honored as Educator of the Year (2010). My final assignment with USAID was in Ghana, where I managed USAID programming throughout West Africa, with direct responsibility for Cote d'Ivoire, Benin and Cameroon. Since my retirement, I have worked as an independent consultant for Creative Associates, DAI, The Mitchell Group, Pragma, and ECC. I also provided consultant services to USAID/Senegal.
