Bridgette has dedicated her professional and academic efforts to the creation and strategic distribution of media that matters.
She is currently leading communications and special projects at an innovative, philanthropic fund in New York.
Previously, she served as a Creative at a New York-based international human rights NGO, working cross-departmentally to develop messaging around human rights issues and the organization’s programmatic work at the intersection of social justice and technology.
Prior to arriving in New York, Bridgette was living in Uganda and working in conflict-affected regions of DR Congo, the Central African Republic, and South Sudan where she reported on regional developments and contributed to programmatic work for the NGO Invisible Children.
Bridgette holds a MSc in Global Media & Communications from the London School of Economics and a MA in Global Communication from the University of Southern California. While in graduate school Bridgette focused her studies on globalization, strategic communication in conflict, NGO media & communication, human rights & technology, and communication for development. She held a Global Fellowship at USC’s Center for Communication Leadership & Policy where she supported publishing scholars researching the intersection of human trafficking and technology.
A Santa Barbara native, Bridgette attended the University of California, San Diego where she was on the NCAA women's water polo team. She was invited into the Political Science honors program and graduated with a double Bachelor's in Political Science and Visual Art (studio), with a minor in Music.
