I am an interdisciplinary researcher who helps out insight about real humans, including the vulnerable and hard to reach, right at the heart of decision making. I'm a believer in participatory, iterative and user-centred approaches as tools to build stuff that really works: great products, services, communications and policies that fit the needs and habits of the people that actually use them.
In my work with 2CV, we support clients who chime with that ethos to support modern, user-centred research, insight, development and evaluation around the world, whether the heart of south London, bustling Nairobi or 'hard to reach' locations like Northern Nigeria . Expertise buckets include; emerging markets; youth research; digital uptake and digital transformation; money and debt; food and food policy; deliberative research; mental health; comms testing and evaluation; and innovation.
My work borrows heavily from my training in the human sciences - across Neuroscience, Experimental and Clinical Psychology, Sociology, and Behaviour Change theory- and human-centred design (HCD).I hold an undergraduate qualification in Psychology (BA High Hons) and a MSc degree in Sociology from the London School of Economics. Prior to my market research career I ran a range of academic research work at leading academic institutions in the UK and USA including LSE, Yale and the University of Michigan.
