A practitioner from Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and a graduate from one of the leading universities in Kenya. I have expansive knowledge, professional experience and excellent performance in procurement and supply chain management. Through the years, Caroline has specialized in procurement management in not for profit organizations - donor funded projects (e.g. USAID), the private sector and the public sector. My day to day operations involve - identifying, interpreting and implementing best procurement procedures in line with industry standards, donor policies and government regulations; identifying process gaps and modifying existing procedures to best practice i.e. in procurement/purchasing, supplier selection and contracting/contracts management; developing standard templates in line with approved/modified procedures and creation of simplified automation workflows for users. e.g. Request for Quotations, Request for Proposal, Interest To Bid, Expression of Interest; training of personnel on standard/modified procedures and compliance to requirements; relationship and change management (stakeholders or geographical); supplier selection, contracting and contractual management; crisis management e.t.c. I am a good planner with proven ability to make timely, sound and complex decisions, adheres to strict deadlines; and possess excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership and problem solving skills.
