I am a member of the World Energy Council's Future Energy Leader's (FEL-100) Programme, an alumni of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) in Energy Security, having worked in the energy sector for over 9 years with expertise in Energy Markets analysis, Utility Operations, Project Development in Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for Power Projects, Rural Electrification and the integration of grid and off grid Renewable Energy Technologies as well as Energy Sector Project Financing.
I have trained in Generation, Transmission and Distribution systems and worked in system operations as well as project planning and system design as a senior engineer. In 2016, I worked closely with Government ministries in developing a 5 year investment plan for the country’s Energy Sector and also worked with other representatives from entities across Africa, responsible for infrastructure projects in road, rail and energy under the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD). In 2017 I joined the Engineering group Cigre B3.43 where we published the "Contemporary Design of Low Cost Substations in Developing Countries" technical brochure.
