Chelsea Peters is an Environmental Engineering PhD candidate at Vanderbilt. Prior to her studies at Vanderbilt, she served in AmeriCorps through Knox County Stormwater to teach water quality awareness and lead environmental outreach initiatives. She received B.S. degrees in Environmental Science and Chemistry from Rhodes College. Chelsea's dissertation research focuses on groundwater-surface water interactions in southwest Bangladesh. She received a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship to support her research and is heavily involved with teaching, outreach, and student life.
