Ezeugo, Jerry Chima is Public Health M&E Professional with over three years research and fieldwork
experience in the areas of Health System Strengthening, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of
Public Health Projects. He has worked in the past with the Bayelsa State Public Health Department as well
as Girl Child Empowerment and Reproductive Health Initiative, a Non-Government Organization. He has
built his capacity across the areas of HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Treatment, Maternal, Newborn and
Child Health, Family planning, Malaria, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. He was an independent
monitor during the WHO/UNICEF tOPV/mOPV vaccine validation SWEEP project.
Mr. Ezeugo was an intern with Hope and Care Foundation Port Harcourt Rivers State, where he worked
closely with the Monitoring and evaluation officer (M&E), Assistant Monitoring and evaluation officer to
monitor, evaluate and provide technical and programmatic support in assigned PMTCT, HCT, and OVC-
LOPIN (provision of drugs and nutrition assistance) project sites to ensure optimized HIV and NAC
(Nutrition Assessment and Counseling) Services. He also carried out routine data entry of project data into
the organization's NOMIS Data base.
Mr. Ezeugo is currently a Volunteer in the Monitoring and Evaluation unit of FHI360 (SIDHAS), Rivers
State Office, where he works closely with the Technical Officers (TOs), Assistant Technical Officers
(ATOs) and Technical Assistants (TAs) in the unit to monitor, evaluate and provide technical and
programmatic support in assigned ART, PMTCT and DOTS/TB, sites to ensure optimized HIV, TB and
NAC (Nutrition Assessment and Counseling) Services. He also carries out routine data entry of project data
into the organization's DHIS 2 and LAMIS Data base. Mr. Ezeugo is fluent in English, Igbo (native), Pidgin
English (fluent) and Yoruba (basic).
