Dr. Christine L. Rioux has over 20 years of international and domestic US experience directing environmental and public health risk investigations including projects in Vietnam, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Tanzania, Uganda, Hong King and 16 US states. Her interdisciplinary expertise spans several topical areas including emerging infectious disease, chemical hazards, transportation, chronic disease and climate change. She is skilled in a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods of investigation and community-engagement including: risk communication, biostatistics and spatial epidemiology, field studies and community-informed research. She has developed and presented courses and trainings, outreach and educational materials for citizens, students, public officials, clinicians, scientists, engineers and industrial managers.
