Nurse and public health professional with experience in conducting situational analysis and needs assessments, designing and delivering training and capacity building, designing and delivering health promotion programmes and producing evidence-based guidance in a variety of contexts - including Canada, England, South Sudan, Zambia, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Nepal and Afghanistan. My focus has been working with often marginalized and neglected groups - women and children experiencing violence and abuse, migrants, refugees, racialized groups, Aboriginal people, LGBT people and people who are homeless and under housed. I have a particular expertise in conducting situational analysis, needs assessments and providing technical advice on the design and delivery of the medical and psychosocial response to sexual violence. I am aim to continue to work in the global health field with a focus on preventing and responding to violence against women, improving health care access and provision for neglected and marginalized populations and reducing health inequalities.
