Corinna is an inclusive finance and insurance specialist. Since 2016, she works for the development consultancy joyn-coop leading projects in the areas of financial sector development, micro- and SME finance, financial literacy, employment promotion and climate financing. She supports project preparation, conducts conceptual studies and evaluations for actors of the German development cooperation leveraging her interdisciplinary academic background as well as quantitative and qualitative research expertise. Likewise, Corinna is an experienced workshop facilitator and has moderated events and processes in diverse cultural contexts. She appreciates working with stakeholders from different backgrounds to jointly develop sustainable solution approaches in multi-stakeholder processes. Before joining joyn-coop, Corinna has advised a regional GIZ project in Asia promoting inclusive insurance policies in six Asian countries. Corinna’s multi-cultural work experience has been helped by her fluency in German, English, and professional working proficiency of Spanish and French. She holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies as well as bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Human Geography. Since 2018, Corinna is a certified trainer for the Micro Business as well as the Micro Savings Game of Savings Bank Foundation for International Cooperation.
