- Leader and technical expert in gender and international development and the empowerment of women and girls; 15+ years of experience in research, training program support/technical assistance and advocacy on gender issues in multiple sectors as, for example, in civil society strengthening, agriculture and rural livelihoods, financial inclusion, conflict and transitions, gender-based violence, environment and natural resources, and climate change adaptation.
- Field experience in 15+ countries short-term throughout Africa, South Asia, the Pacific Islands, the Middle East and Latin America; four years based in Djibouti working with non-profits and private sector in education and literacy, women's rights, youth, and financial services.
- Senior leader and manager within a leading U.S.-based Fortune 500 consulting firm, proven skills in organizational change, strategy and planning, and budget management. Results and people-oriented manager able to motivate individuals, teams and partnerships. Experience with a range of international donors including USAID, MCC, DFAT, MFAT, UKAID, IDB, and WFP.
- Experience in full-cycle business development, thought leadership, and research. Specific experience conducting Gender Assessments (both as part of a team and individually); as well as designing, delivering, and facilitating trainings and workshops on gender integration and social inclusion for a diverse range of audiences.
