I am pursuing my second master degree in International Development Studies, concentrating on humanitarian assistance and global health primarily as it pertains to malaria prevention and elimination. I am also interested in child protection and education, and food security. I am familiar with LogFrame, theory of change, stakeholder analysis, literature review, monitoring and evaluation, participatory learning and action/participatory rural appraisal, and qualitative and quantitative research methods. I recently worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Development and Environment in Laos. Besides my academic responsibilities, I devote my free time to volunteer works. Prior to my current study, I worked as a journalist and editor for Oriental Post for four years, two of which I spent in Zambia and Tanzania. My major work included reports on Zambia’s general election, the creation of a health column, and helped to increase the number of news subscribers from 2374 to 26199!
