Senior theologian with experience in working with women's empowerment and gender justice programs in International Faith Based Organization; strong academic background teaching at university and undergraduate levels. I am focusing the intersections between root causes of poverty and gender justice, promoting women's empowerment and leadership in church and society. Work in policy development and networking with multiple stakeholders in different levels and regions (Asia, Africa, North and Latin America, Caribbean and Europe).
I am skilled in working on gender as transversal priority in the organization's programs and projects, managing its budgetary implications. I have developed expertise in cross-cultural teamwork, and finding strategic directions and planning of gender and advocacy for human rights in a local to global approach, focusing on some UN platforms (CSW, CEDAW). I am committed to research the ethical implications and the transformative capacities of the role of religion and faith in the intersection of gender justice and women's human rights.
