I am passionate about fighting inequalities and contributing to a more equal, sustainable and fair world. I strongly believe in the benefits of diversity for companies and societies. Over the last 20 years, I have worked with different organisations developing strategies, partnerships, programmes, tools and policy dialogue for the promotion of gender equality and diversity worldwide.
I have worked extensively on gender equality, environment and climate change, the sustainable development agenda, gender-based violence, gender and governance and masculinities approach. I have now decided to work as a consultant to have more freedom and more time, to engage with a broader range of organisations and in more countries, as well as developing as an entrepreneur. I have developed cultural pertinence sensitivity, acquired living and working in different regions of Africa, Asia, South America and Europe.
During my career, I have been designing and leading programmes to mainstreaming gender and diversity into operations and policies in challenging contexts and post-conflict countries. I have developed strategic thinking and provided recommendations for institutional mainstreaming as well as policy dialogue on gender equality, sustainability and inclusion for different organisations.
I believe I am highly motivated and able to motivate others and to inspire high ethical standards, self-disciplined, socially sensitive, flexible, open-minded. Eager to achieve further personal and professional growth. I enjoy managing and coordinating people of different backgrounds and nationalities and at organising the tasks and responsibilities in an efficient and clear manner. I strongly believe the Sustainable Development Goals are a fantastic opportunity for a better world.
I am also an entrepreneur, craftswoman and the proud founder of a small company called Take a Seat Home, dedicated to traditional upholstery, cabinet making, restoration and caning, my other passions.
