I am working in humanitarian field for the last four years, and governmental sector for about twelve years, I build my experience in management, coordination with different stakeholders from several sectors and backgrounds. last job I was holding was Acting Project Manager for Family Planning and Post-Abortion Care project, Refugees focused, Save the Children International, I joined SC since Dec. 2017 as Health Project Officer for FPPAC project, then get promoted to be Acting manager, responsible for leading the project team and managing the implementation of project activities, which is including but not limited to; monitoring activities and team performance, budget, filed outcomes, reporting to Program manager and periodical report to the donor, managing the stakeholders including governmental officials.
My role was not limited to FPPAC project, as I participated in preparedness for UNHCR funded project for 2nd and 3rd Referral for Refugees Health Care, under the supervision of my senior, I was responsible for leading the contracting with healthcare providers, following up with supportive units, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to assure that all steps are integrated for launching the project on time.
I have a diversity of working experience in public sector, and not for profit organizations that makes me believe that I’ll fulfill the post requirements, I participated and took the lead in several processes included designing and managing project proposals (Positive Parenting submitted to UNICEF, Counteracting SGBV for Syrian refugees submitted to UNFPA, and Medical Assistance for Refugees in Egypt project submitted to UNHCR by AMU), drafting manuals and standard operating procedures (VACSERA, AMU & Mersal), organizational restructuring (Mersal), managing operations (Home-based care component; AMU, community mobilization, and, and preparation for Referral Care project; Save the Children), setting indicators, monitoring and reporting (VACSERA, AMU, Mersal, Save the Children).
Most of these tasks included also stakeholders’ management; communicating with governmental officials, technical experts, community, donors, implementing partners, and operating teams.
I believe that my main strengthens are the ability to acquire, and implement knowledge to achieve the ultimate goals, accept challenges and motivate my team, sharing the knowledge and creating learning environment within the team, which comply with SC values.
My work experience is also equipped with Postgraduate diplomas in Global Business, Project Management, and Civil Society & Human Rights.
