Eric Adams is the Kenya Country Representative at DIG where he advises government agencies, commercial banks and large utilities on mobilizing public and private sector financing to develop urban infrastructure and improve access to basic services. Over the past 20 years, he has managed internationally recognized programs in microfinance, water and sanitation, and innovative commercial financing using market-driven solutions that integrate management vision, core business practices, technology and gender responsiveness, among others.
Mr. Adams brings a combination of hard and soft skills to the international investment planning and financing process with on-the-ground experience in 16 countries with programs funded by USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Ford Foundation, among others. In the hard skill sense, he brings technical expertise in opportunity analysis, management consulting, investment planning, risk analysis, debt and equity proposal development, loan structuring, project implementation and outcomes analysis. In the soft skill sense, Mr. Adams brings mature cross-cultural skills in leadership, cooperation and personal effectiveness, which have been applied across many business sectors in a matrix driven global environment.
