I am a student of Global Health and International Development currently completing an MSc at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I have additional education via a BA in International Relations with Psychology and short courses delivered by London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I have particular interests in global [mental] health, global disability, humanitarianism and post-conflict rebuilding, and inclusive social development.
Academically, I have explored these issues at the cross-section of social and behavioral science disciplines including public health, political economy, sociology and anthropology. Professionally (while only just beginning my career), I have been developing a diverse range of skills acquired through work experiences across sectors, whilst completing my studies. Complementing my academic passions, these work experiences have ranged from global mental health and disability work, policy and project assistance with international NGOs, grassroots advocacy, and health care. In the process, I have developed professional and academic/research skills that are at once globally oriented, diverse and complementary.
