I have around 15 years of professional experience in humanitarian and development programming with national and international humanitarian organizations mainly, Handicap International, Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, Japan Emergency NGO and Tear fund UK. I have design and implement different projects in humanitarian actions of 2001 Islamabad/Rawalpindi, 2005 earthquake, 2007-08 Baluchistan cyclones, 2010 supper floods, 2011, 2014, 2015 floods, IDP crises and conflict management and 2016 earthquake. Besides this I have designed and implemented various development and DRR projects across Pakistan. I have designed assessment methodologies, tools and conducted different rapid need and detailed assessments. I have successfully developed, executed, monitored and evaluated projects of donors e.g.; EU, ECHO, DFID CIDA, SIDA, OFDA, UNICEF, OCHA-ERF and Caritas Germany. I have developed and contributed in DRR and inclusion strategies, guidelines and training manuals for different organizations. I have developed and imparted many capacity building training on inclusive DRR/CBDRM, VCA, DRM plans and contingency plans, response plans inclusive early warning system, minimum standards for gender, age and disability inclusion in humanitarian action etc. I have experienced in project cycle management and mainly managed DRR, Emergency Response, Shelter/ NFIs, early recovery, livelihoods WASH projects.
