Girum has more than 10 years of experience on project management, especially on Monitoring & Evaluation in Save the Children, ACDI/VOCA, World Vision and CNFA. The practical experiences are both in employment and as a consultant form. He has successful and consistent record of accomplishment of achievement on areas such as designed five programs/projects documents, installed workable M & E systems, provided different training on project management and M&E, conducted/ led more than 10 assessments (Ex. Market, Rapid Emergency,…), 10 baselines, more than 7 researches, 22 mid-line and end line evaluations on Livelihood, food security, economic empowerment, health, nutrition (especially on anthropometric measurements), WASH, education, Agriculture, and DRR. In addition, he has technical skills on setting indicators at all outcome levels, designing data collection instruments and procedures for that, lead/conduct data collection, database management, design entry templates using SPSS, CSPro, EPinfo, Kobo toolbox, Excel and Word; and do entry, statistical analysis (using SPSS, E-Views, STATA), and report writing. He is currently working as Manager of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) with Save the Children Ethiopia for READ CO.
