My areas of interest are international migrations, forced migration, human rights and humanitarianism, and violent conflict. I have a strong academic background (BA in Sociology, MA in Social Sciences, PhD in Political Science) combined with long-term experience with the humanitarian/development system. My dissertation (2010) combined long-term ethnographic work and quantitative analysis, focused on the return process of IDPs in Bosnia-Herzegovina after the 1990s conflict and received several awards and acknowledgments. My research focuses on international migration, specializing in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. I have worked in different capacities with international organizations such as OHCHR, UNHCR, the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) or ILO.
