I have over 35 years of professional experience of which 12 in international managerial positions working for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Before joining UNDP I worked for more than 20 years for the Government of Mozambique in several positions, being the highest post I held of the National Director of Planning and Budget. I have solid managerial and planning skills and extensive experience in the design, negotiations and management of the Global Fund grants to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. I have proven ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams and significant experience in working in complex and politically sensitive environments. I am a self-motivated professional, highly organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize effectively. I also have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse working environment.
