I am an experienced senior level manager, Chief of Party (COP) and country director with 27 years of experience managing, implementing and evaluating social and community development projects in addition to leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in many international NGOs. I served as COP or Deputy COP for many development projects including four USAID-funded programs in Egypt and Iraq, with a combined value of $85 million. I am currently serving as the COP for Save the Children’s $10.4 million Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program (MCHIP) in Egypt funded by USAID. During my tenure with Save the Children, I managed a sizeable sub-grant portfolio, the preparation of quarterly work plans, outreach to national government entities and overall management of the project which covers six Egyptian governorates.
