Jacqui Mattingly is an experienced educationalist, who has worked in development for over twenty years, and prior to that for many years within the education sector in UK, specialising in inclusive education, especially as an integral part of quality improvement and overall system reform. She has a strong background in identifying the barriers children face to participating in learning and working with stakeholders at all levels in the system to remove or minimise these. Jacqui also has broad experience in curriculum development, teacher training and developing support materials for teachers. She has both long- and short-term experience in a wide variety of countries across Africa, Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East and the Caribbean, and in programmes supported by a range of development partners including ADB, Australian Aid, DFID, EC, UNICEF, and the World Bank. She has been involved in all stages of programme implementation from design through delivery to reviews and monitoring and evaluation. She also has experience in development of national policies and strategic planning, situational analysis, impact assessments, and research.
