I am currently working as Manager Programs [key roles: resource mobilization & programs development, Partners', donors, networks, private sector and governments' coordination, team building, organisational and human resources development) in a national NGO operating in Pakistan. Since 2003, qualified M. Sc Applied Psychology from B.Z.U Multan, Punjab and meanwhile inter in the humanitarian field. On the bases of personal victim of flood disaster of 1992, preferably engaged with flood disaster prone communities for Flood disaster preparedness, mitigation, Climate Change Adaptation, Food and Nutrition Security and sustainable livelihoods. For Short period had been experienced work with ILO and one of the organisation under rural support programs. During the course of 13 years’ experience, the focus of the work remains around minimization of common sufferings of disaster prone communities. In the scenario of pre, during and post flood situations has been engaged around the DM Cycle in need assessment, proposal writing and monitoring in thematic areas of humanitarian response and Disaster Risk Reduction, Livelihood Sustainability, Public health, HID (building capacities of communities, CSOs and Government officials) and Network Building.. Start from the 7th year of experience, worked around legal frameworks for national level disaster management system and constitutional rights. In terms of self capacity building and building others’ capacities, participated and facilitated local, national and international level of various trainings and exposures particularly close work with PDMA and NDMA. Besides the direct work with riverine communities through Non-governmental, not for profit, organization, remain committed to develop and maintain institutional working relationships with other NGOs, INGOs, Networks, Universities and Government Authorities at District, Provincial and National Level.
