Jean Providence Nzabonimpa

Dr. Jean Providence Nzabonimpa is a social science methodologist, experienced in monitoring, evaluation, learning, and accountability in public health, education, and other social development sectors. Countries of his work experience include Rwanda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana and other Eastern and Southern African countries. With outstanding skills and practical experience in the design, planning, monitoring, research, and evaluation systems in humanitarian and development programs for learning, improvement, accountability, and impact, he has been in professional practice for over the past decade in various international development and humanitarian organizations. An advocate for and apt user and manager of electronic data collection in monitoring, research and evaluation activities, especially in not-easy to access settings, he is keen on the opportunities offered by ICT for quality in program design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and advocacy. As an advanced social science methodologist, his area of expertise is rooted in performance management using applied research, rigorous monitoring, impact evaluation and evidence generation and use for development and humanitarian programs.
