A Filipino sociologist and gender practitioner with a 33-year experience in diverse roles for both public and private sectors including volunteer organizations that cut across thematic areas in gender equality and mainstreaming, policy and legislation, project management, training, advocacy and stakeholders’ collaboration and partnership, human resource, workplace safety and health, self-care management, resource-generation, tools development, livelihood and community organizing. Had project management and exposures on UNICEF, CIDA, SIDA, UNFPA, USAID and EU development initiatives and locally- funded projects. Designed, organized and facilitated various workshops, conferences and activities for the last 18 years in the fields of gender, local development planning, deconstructed team building, cooperative, and self-care management such as body tremor response relief, MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction) and other activities. Participants were children, youth (in and out-of-school), adults, elderly, and those with special needs and in difficult circumstances, and PWD’s with their carers, With people and stakeholders’ management skills, which emanated from and have grown throughout her reproductive, productive and community roles. Author and co-author of 2 publications of the Review of Women’s Studies, University Center for Women’s Studies, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.
