I am an accomplished, versatile Medical Epidemiologist, and Public Health Professional with a 15-year history of achievement managing and supporting vital programs focused on ensuring public safety. My career portfolio comprised of such noteworthy activities within the U.S. government, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). I am a CDC-trained Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Epidemiologist who is currently leading the health portfolio within the new Family Health International (FHI 360) humanitarian crisis response team. This includes responding to any disease outbreaks and providing accessible primary health care services. Over the course of professional experience and ongoing education, I have refined skills in epidemiology, operational research, technical assistance or public health advisory, surveillance, and disease outbreak response. My areas of interest/expertise comprised but not limited to: applied epidemiology, public health emergency response (including Ebola virus disease response), capacity building, vaccine-preventable diseases, maternal/child health, diphtheria, and malaria control program. I am uniquely equipped for international success with written and oral language skills in both French (native) and English. During my career, I held specialized roles responding to disease outbreaks and strengthening the health surveillance system by providing epidemiology support both within the U.S. and abroad including Ebola Virus Disease in West Africa-Guinea, cholera and yellow fever in D.R. Congo, meningococcal Disease in Ghana and Boston, MA, cholera and diphtheria in Yemen, infectious disease outbreak among Venezuelan migrants in Colombia and Ecuador, and recently Ebola virus disease outbreak in D.R. Congo.
