Jonathan Brandon is an attorney and international development professional with over six years of
relevant experience. He has five years of internationally-focused experience, primarily in business
development and program coordination roles supporting the bidding for and implementation of
technical assistance projects in the international development field. His relevant experience includes
service on the Washington-based project management teams for six USAID and World Bank-
funded governance and trade projects implemented in Latin America, Central Asia, and the Middle
East. He has also written independent research papers on the legal reform implications of the global
Aid for Trade initiative and the impact of USAID’s recent internal reforms on its rule of law programming. Mr. Brandon most recently served as Assistant Counsel at the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, where he prepared legal opinions and other memoranda on a variety of agency matters, performed legal reviews of multiple agency policies, and drafted select agreements. He is currently seeking new professional opportunities to apply his skills and experience to internationally-focused policy, legal, technical assistance, and operational roles, particularly in the democracy and governance, trade, and economic development sectors.
