Bachelor's DegreeInstituto Superior Politécnico de Manica (ISPM)

Maputo, Mozambique

As a young and motivated individual, I am looking for genuine inspiration, sparking challenges and meaningful experiences. In March 2016 I started my journey as Community Catalyst at ideiaLab, a Mozambican business founded in 2010 with the guiding purpose of inspiring entrepreneurs, supporting the development of start-ups and accelerating the growth of Micro, Small and Medium enterprises. Although holding a B. Hons. in Agribusiness, my passion for marketing and people development allowed me to go from social media champion to an active contributor in design, implementation and assessment of entrepreneurship programmes tailored for youth and women. A fast learner individual to a fast-growing company. Soon enough I was providing business advisory and entrepreneurship training, while also acting as events manager, influencer and speaker. Currently, I am the Community Manager of Orange Corners Maputo, the spot where young university students have access to everything they need to get their ideas off the paper and make their dreams come true. At this position, I not only became the prime interface of the project towards partners, entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, but also ensure operations, planning, marketing and business development run smoothly. This allowed me to improve as a team player with leadership qualities, excellent marketing skills, a professional with positive attitude, organization and dependability. Some of my abilities include: A - Client-Centred: 3 years in a face-to-face customer service environment, allowed me to see customers as much more than clients, but as persons, humans, resulting in strong relationships. B - People management: I enable people to be, do and achieve more. Starting in 2013 advising the college student association’s board of directors to now liaising with a multiskilled team, plus recruiting, training and managing 6 volunteers university student ambassadors whom have reached almost 800 people through inspiring entrepreneurship related events since November 2017. C- Getting the job done: I believe that it is not just about setting KPI’s, it is about smashing targets, monitoring the process to evidence learnings and execute improvements, while also communicating results to relevant stakeholders. D - Evidence the big picture and execute daily activities according: From Startup Weekend to Orange Corners Maputo I have learned to leverage local expertise, harness HQ knowledge and manage different team members expectation to deliver projects in time, below budget and with mesmerizing quality. I appreciate meaningful conversations.
