I hold a BA in international development and French. I work across policies between Africa-EU initiatives, diaspora and language. My thesis concerns the institutionalisation of African Epistemology. I am the founder of AFRIMUS; a diaspora initiative in uniting African universities and Diaspora communities; facilitating exchange semesters and learning initiatives I am the former leader of a Decolonising society - A forum for eliminating racism and challenging mainstream orthodoxy. Our events have galvanised an active student body and a more effective trajectory towards change in the University curriculum. Our events have attracted over 100 students, faculty and staff and non-academic interests. I have chaired/hosted and spoken at various events concerning Development and Africa, most recently I spoke at the Decolonise Sussex University symposium on Pedagogy and Decolonising the Future I am a published freelance writer; http://www.thestatesman.com/news/opinion/the-shock-of-india-s-ugly-racism/146672.html and the most read writer on Quora (Popular question and answer website) in the category 'Africans'
