Summary

I am an international development consultant with expertise in social development - social accountability, social due diligence/safeguards (indigenous peoples and involuntary resettlement, and stakeholder consultations), and social inclusion (gender mainstreaming and citizen engagement). In this capacity I provide business development, policy and program/project design, preparation and development, implementation, participatory monitoring and evaluation, as well as capacity building and knowledge management. After 22 years at the World Bank as a social development specialist, I am currently working on short-term assignments on social development issues with UNOPS and the Global Partnership for Education. I have also worked at Search for Common Ground, Human Rights Watch and the Quaker United Nations Office in research and capacity building. I have a certification in community mediation and facilitation. In addition to my professional experience, I hold an MA in Social Change and Development and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University, School for Advanced International Studies.
