I possess over 19 years of police experience in the local and international level. I am currently an Internal Affairs Investigator for the State of New York. Prior to this appointment as an Internal Affairs Investigator, I was a Criminal Investigator for the New York State Justice Center. Just prior to my appointment as a Criminal Investigator I completed a two-year contract with the United Nations Mission in Haiti as an International Police Officer. I was appointed Deputy Chief of the Operations where I supervised and coordinated with 2278 police officers of the United Nations Formed Police Units (Crowd Control/SWAT). In between International Police Missions I was also an Instructor/Police Officer with the Chatham Police Department. I am currently a certified New York State Police Investigator and possess a New York State Police Academy Instructors Certification which enables me to instruct the Columbia County Zone 14 Police Academy. I completed a two-year contract with the European Union as an Organized Crimes Investigator where my knowledge and investigative skills enabled me to become a member of the Organized Crimes Special Task Force in North Mitrovica, Kosovo. Prior to that I completed a three-year contract with the United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in Kosovo as the Chief of ROSU (Regional Operations Support Unit/ SWAT). During my five-year police mission in Kosovo I learned to speak the Serbian language which in addition enables me to understand the Bosnian and Croatian language. I presently possess a Secret Clearance and a Public Trust Clearance. I am currently seeking a Bachelor of Science, in Law Enforcement Management/Project Management from Union Institute and University.
