Louie is a recent graduate with a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The New School’s Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy. His coursework focused on human rights issues, so he is pursuing career in Human Rights Advocacy as researcher and/or community organizer. Louie is specifically interested in Migrant and Indigenous Peoples' rights. He has a strong track record in organizing, training, qualitative research, and reporting program results. Louie also has outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, along with solid leadership and management capabilities, from his nonprofit experience with Fund for the Public Interest, Peace Corps, and Harlem Lacrosse.
He has proven flexibility, adaptability, and resiliency to overcome obstacles, such as cultural differences like working in Malawi. Louie thrives working with individuals from diverse cultures and disciplines. He is fluent in English and proficient in Spanish. He is also adept using Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Emma Email Marketing, Squarespace, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Premier.
