I have around 15 years of advisory experience in urban development with Government and private sector clients. Worked in key sub-sectors within urban sector include - urban water and sanitation, urban infra feasibility and Transaction Advisory - PPP, municipal finance, urban transportation, climate change and resilience etc. I have worked with various external funding agencies like WB, IFC, ADB, USAID, GIZ, The Rockefeller Foundation; various state governments and more than 40 Urban Local Bodies in India.
During Nov 2017- Nov 2019, I have worked as Chief Resilience Officer (CRO) for Pune city (India) as a part of the 100 Resilient Cities program of The Rockefeller Foundation. As a CRO, I led the team in preparation of the Resilience Strategy for Pune city.
I have worked on complex projects which required strategic problem-solving skills, creativity, high energy and positive attitude. One such ADB supported assignment was to develop PPP project on municipal Waste Water Recycling (WWR) and supplying 45 MLD of recycled water. I have worked on key assignments on project feasibility and project development, transaction advisory, policy and strategy, water sector entry strategy and market assessment for US based and Europe based private players, business plan for EPC companies in India, etc. I have also worked on preparation of Smart City Proposal for Coimbatore, Kochi, Rajkot and Kota cities under Smart City Mission of Govt. of India.
