After working for an international luxury-goods producer for three years, Marie-Noelle made a drastic career change from the private to the non-profit sector. While Marie-Noelle learned a lot working in the private sector and values her time at Montblanc, she realized that a career in this sector is not the professional path she sees for herself. Marie-Noelle has an intrinsic willingness to serve and make a meaningful contribution, beyond the improvement of the economic result of a company. Therefore, she started working in international development. This work brought her to Paraguay, where she helped establish the administrative system of a recently founded university that should prevent brain drain and bring students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds together. Marie-Noelle holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus on international marketing and communication. This June, Marie-Noelle graduated from the University of Chicago with a Master of Public Policy with Honors, concentrating on global conflict resolution and human rights. Last summer she interned with UNICEF Namibia and she continues to cooperate with her former team on a project on menstrual hygiene management.
Marie-Noelle is the Co-Founder of the Inter-Policy School Summit on Global Conflict, an innovative conference, which was founded to not only discuss global challenges, but come up with innovative policy solutions. The first Summit was organized in cooperation with UNDP and other organizations.
Currently, Marie-Noelle is looking for an opportunity to support a motivated team working in humanitarian aid and peacekeeping.
