I completed my Master degree in Geography & Environment from the Jahangirnagar University which is a famous University in South-Asia. I started my career back in 1999 in Agro Ecological Zone (AEZ) Project of UNDP as a “Assistant GIS Analyst”. It was implemented by Info Consult Ltd & Bangladesh Agriculture Research Council (BARC) founded by UNDP. I had the privilege for Mapping, facilitating training, digitizing-editing of spatial database of the project in collaboration with other international consultants. From 2001 to 2007 I am working as an Environmental Educationist with Forest Department, Bangladesh Government in ADB funded SBCP (Sundarban Biodiversity Conservation Project) project. This is the largest ADB project in area of Forest Conservation in Bangladesh. I lead the Conservation & Community Development activities of the project, which are targeted to aware & educate on Natural Resource Management create a diversified and improved alternative livelihood of the people of the Impact zone of Sundarban Reserve Forest of Bangladesh. As Assistant Faculty – Training, I Conduct different types of training with assessed Training needs assessment in the different project, Prepared and organized yearly training plan and establishing principles and methods of social mobilization and creation of alternative livelihood opportunities In my career I also worked with Capacity Building of Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) , Prime Minister's Office, Government of Bangladesh in World Bank funded as the Environment Counselor (National) where I worked for the RMG sector to Review the status of regulatory compliance of the EPZ and the individual enterprises and advise on necessary steps to ensure compliance. Also Monitor the performance of the central Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) and its related activities round the clock in shifting dues to advise BEPZA on measures that can ensure compliance as per the agreement and/or DoE’s Discharge Standard etc. Currently I was working as Manager – Stakeholder Knowledge & Capacity Development in Winrock International, USAID funded CREL (Climate Resilient Ecosystem and Livelihood) project. & was the Community Development Specialist from Dec 2014 to Feb 2018, Initially in this project from February 2013 to November 2014, I was the Institution Development & Natural Resource Management Policy Advisor of CREL project with Tetra Tech ARD. This was the largest USAID project in area of Climate Change in Bangladesh. I worked for the Community Development & Governance activities of the project, which are targeted to scale up and adapt successful co-management models to conserve ecosystems and protected areas (PA), improve governance of natural resources and biodiversity, and increase resilience to climate change through improved planning and livelihoods diversification of the people of the 27 protected areas (Forests and wetlands) of Bangladesh. In addition to my academic qualification and professional experience, I believe, I have all other qualification that you are looking from the potential person for this position.
