Experienced Development practitioner with over 20 years of experience in social, cultural and economic development programmes including: 10 years of engagement in Technical Assistance to national NGOs, the Parliament, Ministry of Solidarity and Poverty Alleviation, Institute of Women and Children, lecturing at public and private schools, and T5 Star Events Bissau as a trainer; and 10 years in the delivery of advisory services programmes in economic sectors. During the last 10 years, invested in and carried out successful programmes in Local Organisation capacity building, Gender-based Economic Development, Advocacy for policy review, Strategic Planning, Value Chain Development, Business Development, Team Building, Marketing, Knowledge development, Performance based manage and Accounting and Finance. As a development practitioner in Guinea Bissau, currently involved in implementing several programmes in poverty reduction by fostering the development of agriculture-based programmes aimed at increasing production, income and employment; food production; programs and projects monitoring and evaluation; and promotion vulnerable people access to efficient and quality. Strong interest in: • Propelling public-private sector stakeholders into positions of economic strength through a variety of mechanisms targeting capacity building in strategic areas, such as market access, and affecting gender balance in economic, social, cultural and local development. • Supporting relevant agencies and partners, particularly in building strategic partnerships, supporting target groups with complex issues, and consolidating links to develop joint initiatives contributing to effective and efficient performance for greater impact. • Researching opportunities for innovation and funding potential for technical assistance and cooperation processes. • Maintaining the highest levels of responsibility, respect for local cultures and structures, and diligence in formulating and appraising as well as managing, monitoring and evaluating programmes.
