I have 17 years’ experience in the fields of corporate and project management, with a specific focus on international development in the Asia-Pacific region. During this time, I have led and managed large, multi-disciplinary teams on initiatives covering marine and coastal resources, fisheries, natural resource management, and research and policy issues across Indonesia, Philippines, Maldives, Mexico, Tanzania and the Pacific region including Republic of Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands and the Cook Islands, and Australia. My skills and expertise focus upon: strategic planning and management; program design and implementation; partnership and stakeholder relationship building; linking research outcomes to policy, and; outreach and engagement to achieve uptake of program activities and results. My experience covers working with multiple stakeholders in various cultural settings including government, business, research institutions, and community groups, to achieve practical solutions to challenges facing communities and to achieve practical knowledge transfer into usable on-ground outcomes
