I have over ten years experience in Business Management undergraduate and graduate level education. Seven years of that experience is in the Middle East (Kuwait) where the majority of my teaching experience was vocational based teaching and assessment. I have been involved in subject and assessment planning, development and delivery. In my role as lead assessor I would oversee other instructors for a subject to ensure consistency and compliance. I have worked in education management where my position involved strategic planning and direction, market and competitor analysis, feasibility studies, curriculum decisions, procurement of educational partnerships, developing policies and procedures, developing systems and ensuring quality. Over my time in Kuwait I have developed a thorough understanding of the Kuwait market and the wider region in the areas of education, economy, society, culture and the geo-political landscape. I am motivated by being able to provide quality education in an environment that supports creativity, innovation, caring and respect. My research interests are work-family balance, cultural collectivism, entrepreneurship and economic development of women in the Middle East and Asia.
