Mohamad Edirissa Faal is a U.S. licensed attorney with expertise in international legal & policy matters. He co-founded Africa Infrastructure Management Platform (AIMP) in 2017, a project management and policy advisory firm that utilizes its Alliance Partnership Network to merge local and global expertise in furtherance of African infrastructure development & social policy. AIMP is dedicated to increasing local SME capacity and participation in development projects.
Mohamad currently manages AIMP's legal operations & social responsibility portfolios. Prior to this role, Mohamad served as counsel with the African Development Bank's (AfDB) Sanctions Appeals Board Secretariat (SABS), and investigative counsel in the World Bank Group's (WBG) Ethics & Business Conduct Vice Presidency (EBC). Prior to those appointments, he worked in private sector general law practice.
Mohamad is Gambian-American, born and raised in Southern California. He holds a BA in Political Science from University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, JD from American University, and Master's degree in International Public Policy & Management from University of Southern California, focusing on Sustainable Urban Planning, Infrastructure Policy, & Public Sector Governance.
