I used to run everyday, unlike water. Water used to run into our house only twice a week, if not just once in my hometown in Palestine. When I was 16, I did not know that household management and social commitments had anything to do with WATER.
My family would plan our activities based on the water schedule, so did I when I went to college. I studied Civil Engineering with a focus on water. Water and the environment have become my passion since I was 19, and this passion has been only growing ever since.
As a Fulbright Scholar who has worked in the fields of water and the environment in FIVE different countries, I have earned extensive experiences as a Water Engineer in the water international development sector. My roles have always focused on supporting communities who struggle due to political, economic or social circumstances. I believe that every human being has the right to have full access to clean water and safe environment anywhere at any point in time.
My professional experiences have acquired me with a unique set of skills such as Environmental Awareness, Project Management and Planning, Communication and Leadership skills.
I am now in Germany for a new professional challenge. If you would like to have a coffee to know about my funniest moments in the countries where I worked, or would like to learn about a prospective employee for you, LinkedIn me or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
