I am an international development professional with over 10 years of experience in social development projects and programs including research, monitoring and evaluation. Throughout my career, I have provided strategic planning, design and execution of research, monitoring and evaluation systems to inform social policy and multi-sectoral development and humanitarian programs using a results-based approach.
My expertise cuts across a number of human rights, social and public health issues from education, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, child proetcion, adolescents and youth, gender equality and gender based violence to community development and social welfare projects. I have a solid experince in capacity building and training, managing and conducting research, monitoring and results-based evaluation projects.
I have designed, managed, and conducted performance and impact evaluations and have developed overall country and joint program M&E frameworks and reporting systems. I have also provided technical support and guidance in the documentation, mapping, and evaluation of emergency programs to guide policy and advocacy efforts.
I hold a Ph.D. in Socio-medical Sciences (Sociology and Public Health) from Columbia University, New York, and have an M.A in Economics. I am a competent team manager with proven leadership and supervisory skills. My personal competencies include team-building, capacity development, problem solving and synthesizing and presenting information in simple and comprehnseive manner to inform decision making.
