After living in Central America for a almost two years, I have decided to return to school. I am studying a Master of Public Health at Saint Louis University and will receive a certificate in Global Health. I am interested in access to health care, and children and maternal health. I see health as a basis for economic development. I work as a Graduate Research Assistant for Dr. Ricardo Wray in data analysis, paper editing and literature reviews. In addition, I work for Dr. Anne Sebert Kuhlmann on Spanish language qualitative data analysis. This summer I am interning at the PAHO office in Guatemala City in the area of infectious disease and determinants of health.
I am a highly motivated and organized individual. I have a high level of proficiency of Spanish. I approach new situations with enthusiasm and excitement. I have various experience living internationally and working in different fields.
